Frequently Asked Questions

ogistics: How do I get to the venue?

Route to Cedar Hill State Park Headquarters at 1570 FM1382, Cedar Hill, TX 75104. Drive to the gate window and inform the park ranger that you are here for the wedding- this is important as otherwise they will ask that you purchase a day-pass. Once inside the park, take a left, the first right, and another right. Refer to the map here.

nvites: What if I lost mine? How can I get my guest code?

We will also be sending a digital invite as a backup to each guest group.

oon: Will there be food served?

Yes, we will serve lunch and dessert. Please note on your RSVP any dietary restrictions so we can accomodate you.

ntertainment: Will there be dancing?

We plan to play card games rather than have a dance floor, so we recommend brushing up on hearts rather than your moves, but you are always welcome to dance if you wish :).

tart time: When does the ceremony/reception start?

This subject to change, as we have not finalized our timeline yet. Currently, we plan to start the ceremony at 12pm, with the reception and lunch to immediately follow at approxiately 1pm.

Dress code: What is the dress code?

Wear what you feel comfortable in! We assume most guests will be wearing semi-casual attire (think jeans and a button-up), but feel free to dress up or down. The ceremony will be outdoors, so you may want to consider a jacket or sweater depending on weather.

Parking: Where should I park?

There is parking directly in front of the recreation hall. In the unlikely case that parking fills, please park at the state park entrance and let us know so we can get you to the hall.

Entry: Is there a fee to enter the state park?

We will be covering park entry for all guests. At the entry gate, please indicate you are here for the wedding. (If you have a pre-existing Texas State Parks Pass, feel free to use it.)

Pets: Can I bring my pet?

Sadly, no pets are allowed in the state park. We will have to celebrate with your furry and/or scaly friend at another time!

Children: Can children attend?

Yes, children are welcome to attend! We will have card and lawn games for entertainment. Please let us know if you need any accomodations.

Accessibility: Is the recreation hall accessible?

There is accessible parking, an accessible bathroom, and all areas can be accessed without stairs. Please let us know if you need any accomodations or have any concerns.

Oct 31st: Will the wedding be Halloween-themed?

October 31st was the best available day that fit everyone's schedule, and we do not intend to have a Halloween theme. We plan to end before the evening, leaving your Halloween night free for festivities!

Why are you changing your last name to Everyls?

We chose to blend our last names, Evans and Broyles, to create a new last name, Everyls. It was important to us to incorporate our last names into our new name to represent that while we are now a unit, we are still part of both the Evans and Broyles family.
